Ongoza Mama

GHAI spent the day in Mathare with the Ongoza Mama Program. The banner two men held against a tent put the point in one line: Empower her. Protect her future.

The GHAI and Ongoza Mama Program banner held up against a tent — Empower her. Protect her future.

The people who came

Women in those shirts sat in the front row, then stood in the road with the settlement behind them. Neighbors and volunteers gathered beside the GHAI sign.
